Structure of the Aggie Green Fund

Guidelines for selecting projects
The Aggie Green Fund will fund projects that increase sustainability at Texas A&M. Projects will be considered based on the following guidelines:

  • Create visible and measurable sustainability impacts
  • Create student employment opportunities through internships, assistantships, and ResLife sustainability representatives
  • Improve campus infrastructure by funding recycling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation and other sustainability programs
  • Generate institution affiliated research projects
  • Create campus sustainability awareness programs

Aggie Green Fund Advisory Board
An Aggie Green Fund Advisory Board will be formed as a University Committee. It will review project proposals and oversee the allocation of funds. The Board will be comprised of 2/3 majority students and 1/3 faculty and staff.
The Board will create an annual report of projects funded by the Aggie Green Fund. All reports will be made available online and be accessible to everyone.
